Details:
Traveling in the predawn darkness I set up my gear at the shores of Lake Erie, in Northeastern Ohio. Fairly early on I found the comet low to the horizon over the lake, in morning murk, photographing in isolation, but at 5:00 AM EDT I got the shot I wanted -- comet, predawn colors, and horizon. Canon EOS 6D Mk. 2, 24-105mm lens @73mm, ISO 800, 2 seconds.
