Details:
Last night I scoured Google Earth lining up roads that would match the bearing of where the comet was set to rise this morning. I finally found a spot along my favorite road in Wupatki National Monument and narrowed to this creviced bend to work with. || I absolutely love this area and each time I’m there I feel compelled to go back again. The only person I encountered drove past, turned around, and stopped to ask if I was checking out that fuzzy thing in the sky. He said he was surprised to see it driving in for work and had stopped earlier to put binoculars on it. I thought that was very cool. We discussed what it was and also pointed out all the planets lined up across the sky too. || Such a beautiful sky this morning and great spot to immerse in it. || Canon EOS 6D Mark II || Canon EF 70-300 mm lens || 6 exposures stacked and aligned to reduce noise || 300 mm, 4.0 sec. x 6 at f/5.6, ISO 12,800
