Details:
Beautiful sight, as the planet Mars was occulted by the waning crescent moon at moonrise. Due to the low elevation in the sky, the seeing was not the best due to turbulence in the atmosphere at that elevation. Additionally high, mostly thin, clouds partially limited clarity. The occultation began at 04:36 AM MST and ended at 05:44 AM MST from my location.
Canon 5D4 with 400mm f/5.6L Lens with 2x for an effective 800mm @ f/11. Camera was mounted piggyback on TeleVue NP-101 which was tracking.
