Details:
The conjunction of Mars-Moon post-occultation was striking in the breaking dawn. As the sky blued, Mars still glowed red and Moon took on its more ghostly white glow. For a few minutes as the lighting of all the components was just right it was beautiful. This is an attempt to capture that scene using a Nikon D850, Nikon 500 mm pf lens with a 1.4x teleconverter all on a stationary tripod. full resolution: https://flic.kr/p/2iuRCpq
