Details:
It was touch and go here on eastern Long Island due to increasing clouds, but I am happy to say that I saw my 4th transit of Mercury. The first image here is actually two combined, one exposed for the transit itself and another, longer exposure to pick up that subtle prominence along the bottom limb. The second is a single shot of the transit itself. I took both at the prime focus of my Lunt 60mm H-alpha scope.
