Details:
Clear skies before midday then the clouds rolled in just in time to block 1st and 2nd contact! A few gaps in the cloud did enable me to take some images. This image is a composite of the first sighting of Mercury and then the last sighting before the Sun was covered by clouds for the rest of the day. Canon SX50HS, 1800mm (50x Optical and 25 x Digital), ISO 100, F8, 1/1000 sec. Baader Solar Filter, Post Processed in Affinity Photo and Photoshop CS2
