Details:
With clear skies returning to the northeast, the Perseid meteor shower was highly anticipated. It did not fail. With two days before peak, there were still plenty of meteors. A very bright meteor crashed down to the left of the constellation Auriga, not far from Capella. I was lucky enough to have my camera pointed in the right direction, getting the best meteor image I've ever gotten! All in all, I observed 6 Perseids with my son, David. Details: Canon EOS T5i, 1600 ASA, 5s exposure, f=5.6, remote shutter release, Gitzo tripod.
