Details:
Santiago-Pontones is an special place. When you look a spanish light pollution map you can realize it is placed right in the middle of one of those black holes on it. An isolated place, 1.500 m high, any other town in the surrounds and the most part of the yearly nights clear. Since 2016, we organize a star-party here. This year it has been crazy, more than 300 people joined us, the city hall turned off the lights of the whole town, the restaurants as well, they used candles. The old people in the town were surprised for seeing such an amounght of people. Two days of activities, stargazing, water rockets, astrophotography workshops, tasteful food and a lot of options for the kids as well. Next year we will repeat !!
