Details:
Over the past year, I shot the solar analemma with a pinhole camera fitted with a rotating mask to uncover the pinhole for two minutes on the hour, 24/7/365. It ran from the winter solstice in 2017 until Dec 20, 2018. This image shows the morning sky up to 11:00 AM with just a smidge of the noon hour sneaking into the field of view. The slight blur is an artifact of shooting through double-paned windows in our house. The camera is just a foam core box with an 8x10" sheet of B/W matte-finish photo paper in it. I stopped the rotating mask on the summer solstice and an equinox to capture the sun's path on those two days.
