>>> The Christmas Comet <<< After days of worrying I wouldn't get to capture this Comet around its close approach to earth due to bad weather - I was very lucky on the 16th when I got two chances to capture it, first capture session was during the early hours of the 16th and this capture session was during the last few hours leading into the 17th. I must say I am a little dissappointed due to the lack of tails visible with this comet, but still the coma, it is big which kinda makes up for it, its hard to get a sense of scale to how big it is against the background stars which brings me to another challange to capture it above some distant mountains in the next 2 weeks if possible and before it moves to far away..
