Details:
These two pictures tell our journey in a plane from Toronto to Paris where we could admire auroras for almost three hours through our window. Thanks to the flight attendants who shut off the small lights we were almost in the dark what made our shots easier as we didn't have to deal with too many reflections. The image where you see the wing is surely not the best ever but we posted it on purpose to describe the ambiance and explain why we shot the second image at 35mm, we had to reduce the FOV to avoid the wing's light and the flare it was creating on the photos. What we find interesting in the second photo is the little shooting star on the left and the presence of clouds at the bottom of the image, what is usually uncommon as we normally aim at the sky for taking pics of auroras ! this shots had to be taken quite fast, 2sec(the plane is moving and wobbling a little) that's why we shot at 8000 iso, f2.8 with an eos 5D mk4. WB was set on 3500.
