Details:
I hoped to catch a glimpse of a couple of comets on the evening of 11. I was on the road early to catch the Moon Saturn conjunction. I arrived at my observing place and set up my 102mm scope with a Sony 7s and had a few shots, in cirrus laden skies, before the Moon went down. I shot as little as 1/25s and as long as 3s and merged them. As the camera was shooting i was watching the close encounter in binoculars and wondered the vast dynamic range of the eye compared to the camera. I also attached a single frame and a link to the full size composition. You can also spot Dione, Rhea and Titan.
