The new SVBONY SV105 2Mp camera was fitted with a double polarising filter and placed at the Newtonian focus of an f/5, 130mm Skywatcher 130PDS Newtonian.
AstroDMx Capture for Linux running on an Xubuntu laptop was used to capture 3 overlapping 1000-frame SER files of the 91.67% waxing, gibbous Moon. The best 30% of the frames in the SER files were stacked in Autostakkert!, stitched together in Microsoft ICE and wavelet processed in Registax 5.1, all running in Wine. The final image was post processed in the Gimp 2.10
