Today is the first sun rise at Bharati Indian Research Base Station,Antarctica (69°24' 24”S, 76°11'43”E) after 49 days of long waiting. we are glad to observe the Nuctilucent Cloud from our station. observed by B Sudarsan Patro (Dy Leader 37th ISEA) Indian Institute of Geomagnetism , Navi Mumbai (INDIA).

Please may I request confirmation of Mesospheric “Noctilucent Clouds” (?) because they look more like the lower (but still spectacular) Polar Statospheric Clouds called “Nacreous Clouds”, which the Antarctic is entering the season of now. Regardless, you are lucky to have such a wonderful view. Enjoy!
