Details:
I am hopeful of seeing a blood red Moon on 27th July for the Total Lunar Eclipse visible in the UK at Moonrise. However, on Sunday evening I was surprised to find my crescent Moon images showed a blood red Crescent Moon! The image is direct from the camera with no photo editing applied. There have been some heathland fires as a result of the long dry spell in the UK so I wondered if this effect is due to smoke particles in the air?
