Details:
Cirrus uncinus clouds over the dried-up landscape in the Netherlands. The cirrus does not predict any rain this summer. Normally summer in this country of canals, rivers and lakes is not to hot and sufficiently endowed with rain, and the Dutch green landscape ought to be one of lush meadows and leafy woods. The summer of 2018 is extremely dry and warm however. The rain shortage has exceeded 200 mm (on a annual average precipitation sum of 750 mm), and the green landscape has turned into a mediterranean palet of colors under the burning sun.
