Details:
We can now observe the disintegration of a comet. Measured in Astrometrica, the brightness near the center has dropped by 1m5 from July 5 to 13. The central condensation is now clearly surrounded by a dust cover. GIF and image taken this morning 00.27 -1.13 UT 105x20 seconds 12"/4 Asi 1600 2x2

Michael,

It has been interesting following your updates of this comet. It would be unfortunate if the comet was disintegrating already, although Carl Hergenrother (ALPO) had suggested that it could do so because it was so dynamic (lots of gas) but still relatively faint for a new comet. I look forward to your updates, do to trees and my home I cant image to the north anything as low as this comet currently is in our skies. I would like to watch it brighten with binoculars so dont destroy it just yet!

Cheers, Mike Olason

Thank you Mike
On individual shots, the center was not always visible. This comet doesnt reach perihelion intact
