Details:
Despite being almost at the closest point to the Earth, the Red Planet does not show particular details of its surface as it is globally affected by a sand storm.
Sand storms on Mars are common, especially in spring and summer. They cause a warming of the atmosphere and winds consequently generate large differences in temperature between air and the surface. The melting of the Matian poles' dry ice of and the release of CO2 into the atmosphere also favors the suspension of dust particles in the air.
