Details:
Mars almost covered by the dust storm. The oval shape must be due to the position of Mars relative to the Earth as it looks the same in images by other contributors. It will be interesting to see how that changes over the next 2 months, opposition is at the end of the month Meade 8SCT Powermate 2.5x ZWO ADC, ZWO ASI 120MC SharpCap,Registax and contrast adjustment in GIMP Seeing was rather poor

After an exhaustive study of past Martian dust storms, Richard McKim, director of the Mars Section of the British Astronomical Association (BAA), concludes that only 10 planet-encircling events have been reported in the past 130 years. Of these, only the 1971 storm was truly global.
