Details:
Some infrequent halo display this afternoon at Santiago. Accompanying a partial 22ยบ halo with parhelia (sundogs, only the right one in the first pic), there were from Sun to zenith: upper tangent arc, suncave Parry, circumzenithal and heliac arcs. In the second pic (the one with stitching voids) there are also a faint supralateral arc and two parallel? heliac arcs.

Great display. But about the supposed heliac arcs I am not so sure. The curved lines in the image like more to be caused by camera lens internal reflection of direct sunlight. Did you observe them visually too? The somewhat brightening of the upper section of the suncave Parry arc might be a combination of Parry and upper Lowitz arcs.

Thanks Peter for your comments. I am pretty sure of the upper arc above the circumzenithal one. Anyway, it was a day to remember. What a display!
