Details:
The sky is a little darker due to Hurricane Maria knocking out our power grid here in Puerto Rico. The faint glow over the mountain in this photo is probably caused by patio lights powered by home generators. Many folks out here have been running generators since the Hurricane, including me. The positive side to a failed power grid is a darker sky but on the negative side I have not been able to generate an income. I wish there was a better way to reduce light pollution than have a Hurricane destroy a power grid.
This photo was taken about 2 hours after sunset and I was facing west towards the town of Boqueron.
