Details:
Tonight we witnessed a beautiful full orange Hunter's moon rising above the forest of Mount Jura in France around 5:20 pm. The red moon rose above the mountains but I was only able to catch it over the tree line as my view was blocked. It was still an incredible experience and I was able to explain to some other people what the legend actually says about this moon and why it appears bigger! Sony a7rII + Sigma 500mm
