Details:
Late this afternoon (04/09) while the setting Sun emerged below a bank of cloud over Christmas Pass, a double briefly appeared through a circular hole in the cloud above creating the illusion of a double sunset. Twenty minutes later the Sun reappeared through a gap between some lower cloud and the Christmas Pass Hills for just long enough to photograph the two large complex sunspot groups AR 2673 and 2674. Two Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 cameras were used, the first in unfiltered and the second in filtered sunset scene modes.
