Okay, so I think AR2673 was flaring when I gave it a look earlier. I was thinking, man, has it been this long since looking through the PST that an active region looks that bright? But likely that it was indeed in the middle of a flare. This is my first serious photo try through the PST. I finally found some info how to achieve focus by running a minor disassembly on one of my 25mm eyepieces...so the camera could get close enough to the focal plane. Processing is pretty interesting too...all the good surface features were in the blue channel vs. prominences in the red. Green seemed pretty much useless. This is gradient mapped as a bit of an experiment...much more magenta visually through the PST. The white light view was spectacular as well.
