Japanese geostationary weather satellite Himawari-8 caught the moon shadow entering the Earth, on the east-most edge of the Earth. The shadow appeared off the west coast of USA (Contiguous US cannot be seen from Himawari-8), and it immediately went to backside. Date-Time is JST (Japan Standard Time = UTC+9). Events occurred on 22nd Aug. in Japan.
