Details:
After the past 3 stormy spaceweather days, I expected the sky to be quieter Aurora wise. A quick look at the solar wind data online, and on the Ovation model, comforted me in this idea. How wrong was I! Already at 7 PM local time, still during the "blue hour", I saw a bright pulsating corona right above my head! (not pictured here). Soon after the clouds poured in, so I had to drive about 1 hour to clearer skies. Not long after I arrived, I witnessed 3 amazing Aurora outbursts. That's 4 out of 4 nights with powerful Auroras since I arrived here in Lapland at the beginning of the week!
