The best display of 2017 so far. The aurora simmered for quite a long tome before exploding into action, with bright dynamic rays to 60 degrees for a brief spell. Shot taken at 2228 UTC with a Canon 6d, 17mm lens, ISO3200, 8 secs. Tim-elapse available here https://youtu.be/D6Uq84md8BQ
