Details:
This is an early Quadrantid meteor (radiant near the end of the Big Dipper) that peaks Jan 3-4, 2017. Details: Meteor captured with a Nikon D800 camera and a Sigma 20 mm F1.4 lens @ F2.8, 7 sec @ ISO 3200. The Nikon RAW photo converted to TIF, deconvoluted with Lynkeos, then adjusted with Photoshop to convert to JPG @ smaller size for space weather.
