Details:
I got rather lucky tonight, I had gone to bed earlier than usual and was up around midnight for some reason. I let a cat in from the deck, and outside it was bright as a full moon, I ran and grabbed my fisheye lens and snapped a 15 second test shot and the picture was just saturated green. Got dressed went out and experienced a KP - 7 Aurora event, one of the biggest brightest most beautiful events I've ever seen.
