Details:
2 days ago there was a quite unusual alignment of Io and Europe as they seemed glued to Jupiters surface for some seconds. Io just finished a transit, followed by its shadow and Europe was about to dissapear behind the giant planet. Ganymede can be seen to the right. The second animation is a true 3D rendition and you will need to find back your red and green 3D-glasses. The same event was also photographed and upploaded by my very good friend Göran Strand yesterday. /*Peter R
