looks like sunlight reflecting off an aircraft... a meteor would not get dark. How much time between frames? A meteor event would that covers the apparent distance compared to ground objects would be in the hundredths, 1/100s of a second!

I believe that is Private jet. Both are planes. These would have made a very brilliant spectrum of light if this was entering the atmosphere.

Thanks for the opinion. I thought they could be planes as well. Once I was able to watch it on a good quality HD set I changed my mind. They dont appear to enter the atmosphere, graze and leave. NASA describes an Earthgrazer as meteors that skim the top of Earths atmosphere like a stone skipping across the surface of a pond. Try to imagine the rock skimming and flashing each time in bounces off the atmosphere. Thanks again, Ray

I will try to get a video of a plane in the same field of view and post it to show the differences.

first, do research & look at other KNOWN videos & pics of meteors & earthgrazers (specifically Jackson Hole, Wyoming meteor). Second, if you are posting this video looking for ideas as to what the objects are, please post up front a very short (in seconds) edited video of the objects. Now, what you have imaged is CLEARLY aircraft going to & from the local airport. (but you probably know that) Meteors are never dark, or this slow. Once again - never. They most assuredly do not have nav strobes. You have a nice toy with a good camera, please do not stoop to making ufo videos....

dougr855. Thanks for the lecture. I have submitted the video to professionals at sky and telescope and the American Meteor Society and some think it may be space junk or a re-entering satellite or a meteor. Second when I edit the video in Movavi (the only editing software I have) the quality deteriorates and that help nothing. I have done my research my friend.

I wish I could see it on that setup. Thanks :)

Amplelight. How does the long one look? There are no lights that I could see. As i understand all planes run anti-collision lights day and night. Thanks, Ray
