Details:
Minutes before the sun broke the horizon for daybreak, this primarily pinkish-hued rainbow-of-sorts appeared in the northwest sky. The temperature was approx. 12°F. Light snow moved through the area soon after.

A halo is highly unlikely. Most probably a cloudbow in supercooled water droplets. Upper air temperatures might have been still somewhat higher than plus12degsF.
