Details:
Pictures of the sun taken 6 months apart proving that the earth's orbit is an ellipse and not a perfect circle. Smaller picture is July 4, 2015 (1.0167 AU, 94.5 million miles, 31.47 arc minutes). Larger picture is Jan 8, 2016 (0.9834 AU, 91.4 million miles, 32.53 arc minutes). Both pictures taken at the same scale. Last picture shows the difference between the two (about 3.4%).
