Details:
With clear sky and moon low to the east, the faint aurora was seen across a wide sweep of the northern horizon. Lighting from distant towns adds an orange glow. Pictures on Sony DSC-HX9V, 30sec, F3.3, mostly 800ISO, F4.3mm, shot between 10:30 and 11pm GMT
