At 10:30 AM on November 12, 2015, my astronomy class was amazed to see the huge filament, shaped like the letter C, occupying about a quarter of the sun with our Coronado 60. This photo was taken with her iPhone 6 by PSC student Jonese Jackson, using a 12mm Plossl and iOptron smartphone adapter, and shower the C as viewed with the RA mirror diagonal, and also corrected on the eastern limb of the sun. WOW.
