Details:
Nearly stationary patch of Aurora first appeared around 10pm almost directly overhead. A stronger green arch along the horizon moved south and put on an amazing show around midnight, breaking up into several beautiful pillars that danced around the horizon. As a mid-atlantic resident who has only ever seen a dim red Auroral glow one other time, this was an unforgettable experience!
