Details:
Only two months after a similar event, another comet is buzzing Mars. This time not so closely as the Siding Spring comet of October, but the similarity of the two events is striking and not so often seen. The following images were acquired with an 4.5" APO Refractor (at F/7) and Canon 550D at ISO 1600 and 20 seconds for each exposure. The images showing the comet clearly are stacks of 51 frames, while the one showing its moving among the stars (with a diffuse line aspect) is a stack of 71 frames. The green-cyan color is easily visible.
