Comet Lovejoy is currently well placed high in the eastern sky before midnight, just visible to the naked eye from a very dark sky, moving through the star fields of Columba on this night. Astro-Physics 130 GT refractor, Canon 6D, 3 minute exposure guided on stars, ISO 1600
