Details:
It's been a long time since I have witnessed a display of Aurora like the one that we had this evening. Just after sunset the whole sky was filled with what has to be considered as one of the most beautiful light shows on Earth. The colours were extremely vivid, and the speed of movement at times was simply incredible. We photographed it for over 7 hours and managed to capture several thousand images. I used a Canon 5D Mk. 3 camera and a Canon 14mm f/2.8 lens. ISO ranged from 640 to 1250, and the shutter speed from 5 to 15 seconds.
