The auroras started as a diffuse green band across the northern horizon at 12:30, but occasionally expanded into moving, brightening purple pillars and waves.
Taken with Canon T3i 18-55mm at 18mm.
10 and 30 seconds, ISO 800 and 200, f/3.5
