Tiny planet Mercury can be seen low in the west this week. Look for it about 45 minutes after sunset - this is the best opportunity to observe it in the evening Northern Hemisphere skies this year. Here is what it looked like tonight from Croatia. Details: Olympus E-5 with 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 lens. First photo: 49 mm, 4 seconds, f/8, ISO 100. Second one: 12 mm, 20 seconds, f/6.3, ISO 100. Third one: 60 mm, 3.2 seconds, f/4, ISO 200.
