Details:
Last night around midnight, Mars was shining bright in the southern sky. Mars at opposition is the best time to image the red planet. The apparent diameter is at its biggest and so even small telescopes can reveal some features on the Martian disk. I used 5inch Mak.-Cas. @ f36 and a DMK21au camera.
