Details:
For a short time, the Aurora's were extremely bright requiring only a second or 2 to capture versus 15 or 20. Saw this from an extremely dark site with mountains in the background. These were taken when the temperature was around -12 F and were 2 to 4 second exposures. All were taken with a Canon Rebel XSi set to 3200 ISO with a Canon 24mm F 1.4 lens.
