Details:
Was out photographing satellites when I noticed a faint pink-magenta glow on the north horizon in the long exposure photos. Did not expect to see anything with this particular storm, as far south as I am, but this was around the peak and was not discernible to the naked eye (Bortle class 4 location). Interesting! What else might it be? Looking for other reports of similar phenomena from similar latitudes, particularly in the U.S.

Congrats , you captured the highest point of the aurora. Even if it was not discernible with your eyes , the camera did the job :)
