Details:
During a typical hot summer afternoon, on february 19, 2010, a cumulus congestus cloud hovering some 15 degrees over the western horizon (roughly 40 km away) drew my attention for its iridescent top. I then used a Canon Powershot SX20 IS camera to take some shots of its evolving pattern as the interaction of sunlight with its ice crystals, decomposing sunlight in its colors by refraction, changed. The shots were taken from 19:22 to 19:24 UTC.
