Details:
Using magnetometers buried underground to isolate them from extraneous magnetic and thermal effects, I constantly monitor Earth's magnetic field. Yesterday I was treated to the effects of a passing CME as it impacted with Earth's magnetosphere and caused my magnetometers to register significant deflections. The reverberations can still be seen today, nearly 24hrs later.
