Here is a new image taken by SOHO LASCO C3. Image is taken through a Blue filter. The ion tail is now visible pointing down at 7 o'clock. The dust tail is pointing at 2 o'clock.
The comet is almost between the Earth and the Sun. Distance from Earth : 0.489au.
