Details:
S.T.E.V.E was visible from Missouri as well. I have a time-lapse of the event at my YouTube Link posted here along with other Auora views including the Airglow environment in IR. There were interfering clouds but S.T.E.V.E. was still prominent. It quickly formed as a thinner line and then fanned out as it moved Eastward.
