A month or so ago I saw that the crescent moon would be closing in on the Pleiades this evening. The algorithm for the website suggested that the moon would be passing behind the Pleiades, but it's April 1st, so what do you expect... Anyway, it made a pretty picture, and showed the awesome abilities of modern camera electronics and software - handheld 1/4", ISO3200, 300 mm, f/4.
