October 10 (EDT) G4 storm seen from Shenandoah National Park, Central District overlooking Luray, Virginia. In this sequence, between 10 and 11pm EDT, the kaleidoscopic colors evolved and shifted eventually subsiding to areas of less dramatic red and green glow.
